No New Posts The Capitol
Among the western mountains of Panem, the Capitol stands as a gleaming beacon of power and wealth. From the bustling Downtown to the beating heart that is Capitol Square, opulent buildings and magnificent monuments sparkle throughout the city. The people, much like the architecture, are unique eye-catching. They live a luxurious lifestyle free from any of the concerns experienced in the districts. The Capitol is a place of plenty, and there is never any shortage of food, entertainment, extravagant shelter, or anything else the heart may desire.

No New Posts District One
Just southwest of the Capitol, District One has always been favoured as one of the more elite societies in Panem. All luxury goods are provided by this District, including jewelry, wine, and many other necessities to the Capitol lifestyle. Perhaps the greatest exports of the district are its mighty Career tributes, who have been known to dominate the ranks of Panem’s victors.

No New Posts District Two
To the north of its sister district, Two is nestled among the rocky mountains. The people here are known to be strong and hardworking, making them ideal for their two major industries. From the mountainside, many workers quarry the stone needed across the nation. Those great rocky monoliths are home than more to granite, though. District Two is the home of Panem’s Peacekeeping force. Their headquarters lies in the Nut, a hollowed out mountain fortress.

No New Posts District Three
Northeast of the Capitol, District Three is the heart of all technology in Panem. Scientists, engineers, and other brilliant minds work in factories and laboratories to produce many of the modern marvels seen throughout the country. The citizens of this District even provide technical support to those in the Capitol when it is needed. Education is highly valued here, and the training available is the best available outside the Capitol.

No New Posts District Four
Along the southern coast of Panem, the citizens of District Four provide the fish, seafood, and other maritime necessities of the country. The people here are known for their proficiency with swimming and boating and pride themselves on the unique beauty of their home. As one of the three Career districts in Panem, Four is revered for the strength of the young men and women who come from it's sandy beaches to fight in the Arena.

No New Posts District Five
Southeast of the Capitol, District Five has access to plentiful resources which are harnessed to provide power to Panem. The beautiful red rock landscape is unlike any other part of the country, and the people are just as diverse and lovely as their home. Engineers and technicians work together to ensure that no part of Panem is forced to go without the power that fuels the economy.

No New Posts District Six
In the northern prairies, District Six is centrally located such as to provide a home base for all transportation in Panem. The people here produce everything from the railroad tracks that connect the country to trains and hovercrafts that transport officials around the nation. Their mechanics maintain all vehicles and roadways and ensure everyone travels safely to their destinations. Surviving bitter cold winters and hot, dry summers, the citizens of District Six are a hardened and proud people.

No New Posts District Seven
In the far northwest of Panem, the generous lands of District Seven house the forests which provide wood to the nation. Working not only as lumber jacks, but also in the mills and carpentry factories, the citizens here create everything from the finest furniture for the Capitol to the desks that sit in every classroom across the country. The weather here is temperate, although it frequently rains the further west you travel. Seven is a truly remarkable place with greenery at every turn to admire.

No New Posts District Eight
The highly industrialized District Eight is located in the Northeastern reaches of Panem. The people are no strangers to hard work as their factories produce clothing, fabrics, and linens for the people of the nation. One factory is solely dedicated to producing Peacekeeper uniforms. Most of the district is falls into a central city, and the skies are often filled with the haze of smog and dust. Somehow, though, the people here manage to have a true eye for beauty, as can be seen in the beautiful projects created by the tailors and seamstresses of this district.

No New Posts District Nine
Providing one of the most important resources to Panem, District Nine is centrally located in the plains of the Midwest. The people here perform physically demanding work over long hours to provide the grain that is essential to feeding the entire nation. While the people of Nine are not wealthy, they can lay claim to one of the most uniquely beautiful landscapes in the country, with sprawling plains and hillsides covered in fields of corn, wheat, and other golden grains. They seem to have an unbreakable spirit, perhaps inspired by traditions older than Panem itself.

South of those plains, the open meadows make way for the livestock industry of District Ten. Among the green pastures, a variety of domesticated animals are raised to provide meat, leather, rare crafting materials, and even pets to the people of Panem. The people here are some of the kindest you will every meet, with an inclination toward hospitality. Perhaps it comes from their dedication to rearing their herds and flocks with that special touch only the folks of District Ten could provide

No New Posts District Eleven
In the deep south of Panem, the sprawling acreage of District Eleven is dedicated to producing fruits, vegetables and cotton. The hard working people here spend long hours in the fields planting, tending, and harvesting the crops that flourish each season. The humid climate makes for sweltering days in the summer, but despite this the land is very much a part of their lives and they celebrate its fruits with each harvest that passes.

Within the eastern mountains, the coal that powers Panem is mined by the people of District 12. In the Seam, where the miners and their families live, the air is often filled with the dark soot of their hard labor. This mountainous land is not without its beauty, though. From the trails that cut through the un-mined mountain tops to the flowers of the meadow and the stunning view from the overlook, it is no wonder the citizens here are proud of their unique home.

No New Posts Elysium
Far to the northeast, the refugees of the recent conflict have found a piece of land to call their own. Elysium was founded above an old abandoned bunker left by the previous civilization. The small town is coming together one building at a time, with everyone contributing to its construction. The scenic landscape embodies the very hope of the people. The waterfalls to the west, beautiful ruins of an old civilization, and an airfield that has been appropriated for current use, they hope this quaint town will one day grow into a symbol for their hopes and dreams.

No New Posts Western Wastelands
Beyond the boundaries of the districts lie the wastelands of Panem. In this vast space between each population center, people from neighbouring areas can meet with others they might never otherwise have known. It is illegal to trespass into the wastelands, but that doesn't stop the brave few from doing so. Citizens should beware of peacekeepers and wild animals in this untamed land. THIS SIDE IS ACCESSIBLE BY DISTRICTS 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, AND THE CAPITOL.
